You will be missed. I have worked closely with Al for 15 years, and known him for a bit longer. He was my boss. The best boss you could ever wish for. Such a gentleman...even when reading me the riot act!
If i was stuck anywhere in the world with no hope, Alan would be the person that i would call.Alan would sort it out, that's the kind of man he was.
Alan sent me on a job. The last thing he did. The job was to take a show to Slovenia. This was supposed to me my holidays from work, but Al insisted that i did the job. So i did. This meant that i was in Slovenia on the day of the funeral.
I had my own little service for Al in the truck park of a motorway services in Slovenia. Sitting in the truck that he had put me in 15 years ago.
You truly have left a gaping hole in my life, and i will always remember you for who you were.
Thinking of you always and forever.

Alan was my favourite and only brother in law. I shall miss him contacting me on my birthday as it was the anniversary of Terry's death and he never forgot
Take it easy. Love Carole
